Thames and Newcastle Website

London based Chartered Building Company, Thames & Newcastle approached Orca to give their brand image a bit of a lift in line with the extremely high quality and very luxurious property builds and renovations. We were briefed to give their website a good overhaul to reflect their new look and market positioning whilst ensuring brand consistency.

On top of the new stylish look, the Thames & Newcastle website now features improved project galleries, with display options to enable visitors to switch between slide view and thumbnail views. The reasoning behind this is that many of their projects feature both ‘build’ and ‘finish’ stage photographs which amounts to some very large galleries. Depending on whether you are viewing as a potential new customer or an architect referencing specific details, the view options allow easier selection of photographs. Continuing with the website improvements, we created new responsive layout templates to ensure the website can be viewed on mobile devices to its best and a new ‘Our Team’ page to introduce the Thames & Newcastle staff members to help visitors identify the best person to deal with any enquiries. We have also created a bespoke ‘automatic post to social media’ app which allows Thames & Newcastle to create a website news story and then select which of their social media platforms they wish the story to be automatically shared to. This eliminates the need to create multiple posts on each social media platform and saves the Thames & Newcastle team valuable time in their already busy daily schedules.
